This technical report presents the full results of a collaborative process that combined climate attribution science, future fire projections, and knowledge shared by Indigenous Peoples, local communities, volunteer brigades, researchers, and policymakers across Brazil. Focusing on the Amazonia and Pantanal biomes, the report examines how climate change influenced the extreme 2024 fire season and how these impacts are experienced by communities on the frontlines of wildfire risk.
